A typo on a knitted hat was found in Iceland the summer of 2008, which lead to a buzz on the island. Should the owner be confronted? Should the maker be confronted? Where they aware? The topic was touchy.
We live in the era of typo acceptance in fast communication, but still not in the world of creativity, craft and slow writing. Yet in those professions, we find the strongest force of Dyslexia.
Ðyslextwhere was founded in Iceland by the designers and knit enthusiasts Hanna Jonsdottir (Iceland) and Ingrid Brandth (Norway). Ðyslextwhere makes hats by hand. They always use the best quality of yarn and select their words carefully. Even today typos may still occur occasionally because no one is always erfect.
